This page explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on moncadaeyewear.com, who receives the data they generate, and how you can change your choice at any time. Your choice

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, a banner appears the first time you arrive. Nothing but strictly necessary cookies is set until you choose. You can accept everything, decline everything, or open Manage preferences and choose category by category. You can change your mind at any time by reopening the cookie preferences from the banner link, or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser so the banner appears again.

Declining does not stop you from buying: the cart and the checkout work either way.

The categories we use

Strictly necessary

These make the site work and cannot be switched off: keeping your cart between pages, running the checkout, remembering your consent choice, load balancing, and fraud prevention. They are set by Shopify, which operates our store and checkout.

Preferences

These remember choices you have made, such as your country, currency and language, so you do not have to set them again on your next visit. Set by Shopify.

Analytics

These tell us how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are viewed, where visitors stop, how fast pages load — so we can fix what does not work. Set by Shopify. We removed Google Analytics from this site in October 2026.

Marketing

These let us show you our advertising on other platforms and measure whether it works, which is how we know what to keep running. They are set by the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and by wetracked.io, which also sends purchase and browsing events to Meta server-side through the Conversions API. UpPromote attributes orders that come from our affiliate partners. These only run if you accept marketing cookies.

Who else receives data when you order

Placing an order is separate from cookies: to deliver what you bought we pass your name, address and order contents to our payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna), to our production and shipping partners in Wenzhou, China and the order tool they use (Dianxiaomi), and to the couriers. This is necessary to perform the contract with you and does not depend on your cookie choice. It is described in full in our Privacy policy.

How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent ones last from a few days up to thirteen months, depending on their purpose; your consent choice itself is remembered for up to six months, after which we ask again.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will break the cart and the checkout. Blocking the others only affects the things described above.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold, have it corrected or erased, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to sales@moncadaeyewear.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma, garanteprivacy.it, or to the authority of the EU country where you live.
